Starbucks’ Towne Center location is moving right down the street.
The coffeehouse, located at 7415 Corporate Blvd. next to Verizon Wireless and Zoe’s Kitchen, will close within the next few weeks and move into a space next door to the city’s first location of Newk’s Eatery. The move is said to be completed by mid April, early May, at the latest.
The new Starbucks will feature the addition of a drive-thru, but will still have a walk-in lobby, though it will be considerably smaller than the previous location. The new location will also implement the chain’s latest technology—the Clover Brewing System, a vacuum-press coffee maker that allows baristas to craft a single cup of coffee with precise control over water temperature and brew time. The system also gives the coffee increased depth of flavor.
