Sips: A football tailgate-ready beer from a local brewery

As we enter the part of football season when the weather is actually pleasant, the desire becomes stronger to spend more time at an outdoor tailgate party before the game. We heat up the grill, pour some beer and take our time easing into the gameday festivities.

At the start of this football season, Tin Roof Brewery rolled out its latest brew: the Gameday IPA.

It’s a hoppy but light session IPA, packed with four different American hops that offer subtle citrus and piney flavors, but none strong enough by itself to throw everything off balance. The seasonal beer is an easy drink for bright sunny days hanging out in the shadows of the stadium.

And what goes better with a tailgate than a great fall beer? tinroofbeer.com
