The Watermark on Third, an event venue with a 300-person capacity, is the latest venture from Firebelly Concepts, which houses the catering service The Edible Event and Blend Wine Bar. The venue will open next week on the second floor of 326 Third Street.
The new space will house The Edible Event’s kitchen, which was formerly doing off-site catering only out of Boudreaux & Thibodeaux’s. Sales director with Firebelly Concepts Kellie Tate says the company saw a need for an event space downtown, and Watermark will allow The Edible Event to also add on-site catering to its résumé.
