Local chefs show off their dishes with Capital Chefs’ Showcase tonight, Sept. 7

The Red Stick’s finest cuisine, chefs and caterers will be featured tonight, Sept. 7, at the 35th annual Capital Chefs’ Showcase.

The signature showcase, put on by Cancer Services, fundraises for a variety of its programs, each of which improves the lives of those living with cancer. This year, more than 4,000 people in the Baton Rouge area will hear the words “you have cancer.” The funds raised by Capital Chefs’ Showcase can help offset some of their worries. Since its founding in 1959, Cancer Services has helped thousands of patients meet the financial, physical and emotional needs that arise during the cancer journey.

Aside from the delectable dishes, the event will feature an open bar, a live and silent auction and gift card and wine pulls.

The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza. Tickets can be purchased here.
