Act fast if you want to enjoy authentic Mexican food paired with some choice Tin Roof beers at next week’s pop-up dinner series. The Truck, the Brewer, and the Blogger IV kicks off Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Baton Rouge brewery at 1624 Wyoming St. Less than 40 tickets remain at last count, and they are sure to go fast. Tickets are $70 per person.

The dinner is a collaboration between Chef Chris Wadsworth of Triumph Kitchen and Taco de Paco, Allison Offner of Cupcake Allie and Jay Ducote of Bite and Booze.

The evening’s menu begins with Voodoo Bengal pale ale and Blonde Ale, served with pineapple tequila cupcakes, street corn bread and flautas de pollo as passed hors d’oeuvres. During the seated portion of the dinner, a pork tomatillo gordita will be served with Turnow, followed by an oxtail tomato stew served with Rougarou. The third course is a spiny lobster blue corn taco, paired with a special pineapple/habanero Juke Joint IPA. Quail en mole is served fourth, paired with Parade Ground Coffee Porter. For the final course, the chefs are serving tres leches cupcake, a traditional Latin dessert, with the brewery’s special Amber Mounds of Joy beer.
