Leroy’s hosts inaugural Baton Rouge Beer Fest
Brewers from across the nation will be on hand Saturday at the inaugural Baton Rouge Beer Fest at Leroy’s Kitchen (4001 Nicholson Dr.). The fest starts at 2 p.m. and will feature small and large breweries sampling some of their best beers. Attendees can expect to taste local beers from Tin Roof Brewing Co., Parish Brewing Company and Covington Brewhouse, as well as the Capital City debut of Chafunkta Brewing’s Kingfish Cream Ale, Saint Arnold’s Boiler Room Berliner Weisse and Crooked Letter. Food will be provided by Leroy’s, City Pork Deli & Charcuterie and Frankie’s Dawg House. Tickets are $40. You must be 21 or older to attend.
