Stand-up/Pop-up event offers comedy and food tomorrow
A new pop-up event in Baton Rouge aims to bring the city a different take on dinner and a show.
The event, dubbed Stand-up/Pop-up by creator and comedian Jeffrey Buck, brings local comedians and chefs together for a night of stand-up comedy and a pop-up dinner-style menu.
The first Stand-up/Pop-up event features comedians Howard Hall, Josh Watts, Vince Gulino, Tim Smith and Chase Bates. The dinner menu features tapas by the new food venture The Collective, including dill and chive poached shrimp, basil and garlic pomodoro and goat cheese wrapped in prosciutto.
The event at The Spanish Moon begins Thursday, Jan. 14, at 9 p.m. Food prices range from $1-$5, but entry is free.
