Join ‘225’ for the release of its August issue at Rum House next week

Get your hands on some free tacos and a copy of 225‘s August LSU football-themed issue at next week’s Hot off the Press event.

The event is Thursday, July 28, 6-8 p.m. at The Rum House. Guests will enjoy complimentary tacos grilled to order and passed hors d’oeuvres. The restaurant will also offer island-themed drink specials.

LSU football highlights will be played on a projector screen in a stadium seating area.

The event is free and open to the public ages 21 and older, but VIP tickets and tables are also available.

Individual VIP tickets include access to a private VIP area with complimentary rum-tasting samples, hors d’oeuvres and a separate cash bar. VIP tables include an assortment of appetizers, a server for the table and cocktail pitchers of rum punch, sangria or margarita. Limited availability.
