Eat nachos with ‘225’ at Hot Off the Press next week
We’re celebrating the launch of our November issue with a party you won’t want to miss.
225‘s latest Hot Off the Press celebration is headed to Lava Cantina downtown next Thursday, Oct. 26, 6-8 p.m., with a night of food, drinks, music, friends and maybe even a surprise or two—all while you get your hands on the first copies of our latest issue.
The free event features complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drink specials, as well as music from DJ Mike Larry that will continue until 10 p.m. A bar bites menu will also be available with items ranging from $5 to $8, such as half orders of quesadillas or nachos, queso, sourdough hush puppies and Lava Cantina’s “Amplified Shrimp,” which are lightly fried and tossed in a sweet and sour sauce.

Feel like living the rock star life while you’re at the party? VIP ticket options are available for $25, and that includes unlimited house margaritas, one specialty cocktail, a nacho bar experience, boudin balls, private bathrooms and a private cash bar.
