Show you know your way around ‘The Office’ with Trivia Night Wednesday
Whether it’s when Kevin spills his chili on the floor or the CPR scene where the staff breaks out into an impromptu jam session of “Stayin’ Alive,” we all have our favorite moments of The Office. Which is likely why Willie’s Restaurant & Bar is hopping on board The Office trivia night train.
The festivities will occur on the patio Wednesday, Sept. 19, 7-9 p.m. at the restaurant, 11260 Coursey Blvd. Teams may consist of 3-5 people, so choose your teammates wisely.
It’s free to show off what you know about Scranton, Pennsylvania, and all the fictional shenanigans that went down there. But you must dine to win a prize other than bragging rights. The theme song is already playing in our heads.

Crack a smile with Ice Cold Comedy Wednesday
Stop, collaborate and listen. Ice is back with Ice Cold Comedy at Ice House Bar & Grill. A slew of Louisiana comedians will be performing Wednesday, Sept. 19, 8:30-10:30 p.m. All you have to do is sit back and listen while sipping a cold one and indulging in a po-boy.
The lineup will include the likes of Rhet Concienne, Morgan Is-always Wright, Maggie Shipley, River Smith and Jason Leonard performing at the bar at 14111 Airline Highway, Suite 127. Best of all, no cover is necessary.
Help the dogs out with Yappy Hour: Yelp Animal Rescue Thursday
When most of us hear the word “yelp,” we think of the site that allows users to rank everything from hotels, restaurants and even the White House. But in this case, “Yelp” is also the name of a local dog rescue group, and 20 percent of all sales at The Bulldog Thursday, Sept. 20, 5-7 p.m. will benefit the pups.

Head over to the bar at 4385 Perkins Road to participate in Yappy Hour to raise some funds for the dogs at Yelp Baton Rouge Dog Rescue. You may want to let the dog out of the bag and tell a couple of friends as well.
Celebrate Bill Murray’s special day Friday
Caddyshack fans, rejoice. Because boy, does Hayride Scandal: Whisk-e-y & Craft Cocktails have some Friday night plans for you. The bar is throwing a Bill Murray’s Birthday Bash Friday, Sept. 21, starting at 7 p.m. and spilling over into Saturday morning at 2 a.m.
The cocktail bar at 5110 Corporate Blvd. will be home to trivia, prizes, drink specials and food by local catering duo BouillaBabes. Now, who’s bringing the cake?
