Dine roundup: Walk-On’s adds Shreveport location and more

A pair of former LSU Tigers are bringing a Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar franchise to Shreveport.

According to a press release from last week, Jacob Hester and Todd Walker are partnering with Shreveport native Chris McJunkins on the restaurant. Hester is also a Shreveport native and was an LSU football standout from 2004-2007. Walker is a Bossier City native and played baseball with the Tigers from 1992-1994.

The Shreveport Walk-On’s will be located at 7031 Youree Drive. It will cover roughly 8,000 square feet and have room for 260 guests. The restaurant is slated to open in mid-September.
