Dine Roundup: Taco N Sabor closes, McDonald’s trying all-day breakfast

Taco N Sabor, an authentic Mexican taqueria at 3151 College Road, has closed. Though specifics of the closure have not been revealed, signs were placed on the restaurant’s front door saying “Closed out of business” and “Equipment for sale March 29.” The-hole-in-the-wall restaurant opened about a year ago and was gaining a following in the community thanks to its hearty combo plates and large selection of items. Repeat calls to the business and owner were not returned.

McDonald’s is testing out an all-day breakfast menu
According to the Associated Press, a few San Diego McDonald’s locations plan to test an all-day breakfast menu in April. The company said that the test is in response to customers who have said they’d like to eat breakfast foods outside the typical morning hours that they are served—i.e. everyone. In the past, the chain has said it doesn’t serve breakfast all day because its grills “just aren’t big enough for breakfast and lunch.” McDonald’s told reporters Monday that it was too early to speculate on any outcomes of the test. Read the full story.
