Get a taste of New Orleans’ newest brewery, Second Line Brewing, at The Radio Bar tonight, April 25. Attendees can sample Batture Blonde Ale, West Coast IPA, Route 47 Red IPA & Saison Named Desire. Free. 5-7 p.m.

Network with Forum 35 members at April Social: Patio Time, held at Galatoire’s Bistro Thursday, April 26. Forum 35 is a community organization dedicated to improving Baton Rouge through arts and culture, diversity, leadership and service. Galatoire’s will be running drink specials throughout the event. Eat for a cause Thursday at Culinary Arts for Healing Hearts

Tomorrow, April 26, the Grief Recovery Center will host its 10th annual Culinary Arts for Healing Hearts at the Crowne Plaza. Local chefs will be cooking up their best appetizers, entrees and desserts. After tasting, attendees can vote for their favorite dishes. There will also be wine tastings and live music by Chris LeBlanc. Proceeds will go toward counseling services, support groups and community programs for those dealing with grief. $50. 6:30-9 p.m. Purchase tickets here.


Wine and dine in downtown Baton Rouge Saturday

Drink your way around the world at Wine on the River in Galvez Plaza this Saturday, April 28. Attendees will be able to sample local, national and international wine. The event, with proceeds supporting the new OLOL Children’s Hospital, also features live music and food from several local vendors, including Velvet Cactus, Umami Japanese Bistro and Stinky’s Fish Camp. Admission includes all samples and a souvenir wine glass. $55. 3-7 p.m.


Food, music and art at Denham Springs’ Spring Festival Saturday

Pack the streets of downtown Denham Springs for its annual Spring Festival this Saturday, April 28. Shop from more than 150 vendors, sample the local fare and enjoy two stages of live music, a kid’s zone and art demonstrations. Parking and admission is free. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
