Dine Roundup: Louisiana chain Rotolos featured on ‘Flip My Food’ and more

Louisiana chain Rotolo’s Pizzeria will appear on a nationally syndicated television show this week. Rotolo’s founder Mitch Rotolo will be part of an episode of Flip My Food that airs Friday, June 26, on WAFB-9. Chef Jeff Henderson hosts the half-hour cooking show that pairs him with regional chefs and celebrities. In each episode, the guest prepares his or her favorite meal, then Henderson does his take. During this week’s episode, Rotolo demonstrates how to make the pizzeria’s signature The Krewe pizza and Parma Rosa pasta. The episode was shot on location at Rotolo’s Pizzeria’s Slidell location in February 2015.

Several brands of bottled water recalled
According to a story from USA Today, more than a dozen bottled water brand names have been recalled due to E. coli concerns. Niagara Bottling is voluntarily recalling products from its Pennsylvania manufacturing facilities last week. The recalled water brands include Acadia, Acme, Big Y, Best Yet, 7-11, Niagara, Nature’s Place, Pricerite, Superchill, Morning Fresh, Shaws, Shoprite, Western Beef Blue and Wegmans. Read the full story.
