Secret Lair Taqueria holds election night event 

Join Secret Lair Taqueria at Corporate Brew & Draft as the next president is voted in.

On Tuesday, Nov. 8, 6-10 p.m., the taco pop-up will provide various takes on the traditional taco to pair with beer. According to the menu on the Facebook event page, some of the servings will be election-themed, like the “Trumped Up Nachos” with ground beef and spicy Russian aioli or the “Bad Hombre” with spicy chorizo and secret sauce.

Time Warp hosts denim bar happy hour tomorrow

Shopping for jeans is hard, but with drinks and a denim bar at Time Warp boutique the process should go down a little easier.

The boutique is serving up rum cocktails and helping guests find their perfect-fit denim at a happy hour event Thursday, Nov. 3.

From 4-7 p.m., guests can shop for denim jumpsuits, cut-offs, overalls and high-rise or flared jeans. Ashley Monaghan and Sydney Blanchard of MONA.CO will measure and fit guests, and Sigourney Morrison will be on-hand to customize the jeans with patches.

Lasseigne’s to hold wine dinner

Head to Lasseigne’s American Grill on Tuesday, Nov. 8, for a five-course wine dinner.

The meal features Taken Wine Company and Folie à Deux. The reception begins at 6 p.m. with the dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Lasseigne’s wine dinner is $49 per person. To reserve a spot, call 767-7979.


Head to Radio Bar for free food this weekend 

Enjoy a Radio Bar cocktail with a free meal this Sunday, Nov. 6. 

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thomas Bequette will be hosting a barbecue, serving barbecue chicken, potato salad and beans, according to the Facebook event page.
