1010 Nic to host Bad Bunny Bash Thursday to celebrate spring

Enjoy an evening of eating, drinking, shopping, music and prizes at 1010 Nic’s Bad Bunny Bash event April 13, 5-9 p.m., at 1010 Nic on Nicholson Drive.

At the event, guests can fill up on wood-fired pizzas from Dat’z Italian Pizza while listening to music by Joshua Nee and Jonathan Loubiere and browsing the 1010 Nic shops.

Guests can also partake in an Easter egg hunt with prizes from Monochrome, Denicola’s, Noelie Harmon, Jeannie Frey Rhodes, Mercer Supply and Contemporain art gallery.

Houston Bar Golf Association to offer Tiger Tail Trail event in Baton Rouge Saturday

Grab your drinking buddies and head to Happy’s Irish Pub April 15 at 8 p.m. to begin the Houston Bar Golf Association’s Tiger Tail Trail bar golfing event.

Guests will get to play bar golfing, a drinking game that continues at multiple bar locations. The Tiger Tail Trail event will begin at Happy’s Irish Pub and end at Draft House. Stops along the Tiger Tail Trail include Lava Cantina, Driftwood Cask and Barrel, City Bar and Huey’s Bar.

Twine to offer Sushi Social and Wine Tasting event Saturday

Bite into hand-rolled sushi at the Sushi Social and Wine Tasting event hosted by Twine April 15, 7-9:30 p.m.

At the event, guests will enjoy social appetizers, a seated dinner and a dessert. Dishes include sashimi, nigiri and hand-rolled sushi. In addition, each course will be offered with a Lirette Selections wine.

Crowne Plaza to host Easter buffet Sunday

Feast on dishes like seafood gumbo, chicken piccata and crawfish étouffée at the Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge Hotel‘s Easter buffet April 16, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The menu includes breakfast items, cold seafood, main entrees, side dishes, desserts and beverages.

Next week: Gourmet in the Garden returns to Burden

Louisiana Culinary Institute and LSU AgCenter hosts the annual Gourmet in the Garden fundraiser next Thursday, April 20, at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden, 6-9 p.m.

Local chefs from the likes of Bin 77, BRQ, Bistro Byronz, Curbside Burgers, Duvic’s, Galatoire’s Bistro, Gov’t Taco, the Overpass Merchant and many others will offer up dishes for a judges’ panel and the People’s Choice award while Kirk Holder will provide music.
