Dine Roundup: Beer tasting at Radio Bar, National Fried Chicken Day and more food news
Bell’s Brewery tasting at The Radio Bar tonight
The Radio Bar is hosting a sampling of selections from Bell’s Brewery tonight, 5-7 p.m. The brewery will be sampling its line of beers, including the seasonal Oberon Ale and the Two Hearted Ale.
The Oberon Ale is a wheat ale fermented with the brewery’s signature house ale yeast, mixing spicy hops with mildly fruity aromas. The Two Hearted Ale is an IPA brewed with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit. It is named after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Today is National Fried Chicken Day
That’s right. Today, July 6, is designated as National Fried Chicken Day. We suggest doing it right and doing it traditional by grabbing some of the “knuckle-suckin’ good” fried chicken and a couple of homestyle sides at one of the three Chicken Shack locations around town.
