The 3rd Street Grub Crawl returns
Thrive BR, partnering with Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers, will bring the second annual 3rd Street Grub Crawl Thursday, April 21, 6-9 pm.
A $10 donation to Thrive gets guests a wristband offering access to food and drink specials and/or live music at participating venues. Venues include Blend, Capital City Grill, Draft House, Jolie Pearl Oyster Bar, Huey’s, Restaurant IPO, The River Room, Stroubes and 1913. More vendors may be announced soon.
The downtown block party promotes the improvement of public education through Thrive BR’s Charter School.

Galatoire’s Bistro to host Spirits Dinner
Galatoire’s Bistro will be hosting a Donner-Peltier Spirits Dinner on Thursday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m. The dinner will feature Donner-Peltier products Oryza Vodka and Gin, LA1 Whiskey and Rougaroux Rum.
The dinner is $75 per person, and includes tax and gratuity. For those interested in reservations, call Haley Robert at 360-3410.
Rock n’ Pops opening at Perkins Rowe
Gourmet popsicle shop Rock n’ Pops will open in Perkins Rowe this May. The store will be 844 square feet and located across from Barnes & Noble, near California Pizza Kitchen.
Rock n’ Pops will feature 21 flavors of homemade popsicles. There will be seven cream-based, seven fruit-based and seven Ambrosia Bakery cake & cream-based popsicles.
Cowboy Chicken opens on Siegen Lane
Texas-based restaurant Cowboy Chicken has opened on Siegen Lane. The quick-service restaurant features wood-fired half and quarter rotisserie chickens, as well as enchiladas, sandwiches and salads.
Cowboy Chicken is at 6555 Siegen Lane, open daily 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
