The event will feature drink tastings and pairings and fun giveaways, including a full set of eyelash extensions. Women & Whiskey is free, though the bar welcomes donations for The Baton Rouge Crisis Center. The bar will also be collecting donations of canned food, first aid supplies, gift cards and toiletries for flood victims, and giving a discount for those who donate.

Ice Cream Social at the Capitol Park Museum postponed

Tomorrow evening’s Capitol Park Museum free ice cream social event has been postponed due to recent flooding. The museum says it will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

The ice cream socials allow participants to beat the heat with ice cream while getting the latest on all new events and programming at the museum.
