‘Daily Report’: Rue Orleans opening soon on College Drive

After about a year of delays, Katrina Wyman says she’s close to opening her New Orleans-style breakfast and brunch spot, Rue Orleans Breakfast and Brunch Café, on College Drive in the space formerly occupied by Casa Maria Mexican Grill and Bar.
“We’ve had some hiccups, but it’s moving forward. … We’re actually hoping to do a soft opening by next weekend, if not sooner, and once we do that then we’re really going to start planning for the grand opening,” Wyman says.
Rue Orleans will feature a Creole-influenced menu that will include standard breakfast fare like pancakes, as well as more sophisticated brunch items like eggs Benedict.
