From ‘Daily Report’: Piccadilly to launch new restaurant prototype in Baton Rouge this summer
In response to diners’ increased demand for premade meals, Piccadilly is preparing to launch its Piccadilly To Go concept in the Baton Rouge and Memphis markets this summer.
The Baton Rouge company first implemented the Piccadilly To Go concept in Jackson, Mississippi, where it says year-over-year sales have since grown by 21% and to-go orders now account for roughly a third of all sales.
“We are positioned for growth, and the key is that we’re adapting to our guests’ needs for convenience,” says Piccadilly CEO Azam Malik. “Families want fresh, affordable, homestyle meal options, even though they don’t always have time to shop and cook.”
