This chocolate peanut butter smoothie is the perfect smoothie for a pre- or post-workout beverage to help give your body the right blend of protein, calcium and potassium. It can also be a great snack for kids before heading off to after-school sports or activities.


Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

1 ripe banana

1 cup low-fat milk or unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk

2 tablespoons all-natural peanut butter

2 tablespoons Homemade Protein Powder

2 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder

2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
