Caipirinha with Ginger Ale
Yields 1 drink.
1⁄2 fresh lime cut into wedges
6 oz. crushed ice
2 oz. light rum or cachaça
4 oz. ginger ale
1. Put the lime wedges in the bottom of a tall cocktail glass and pour the liquor over the limes.
2. Gently muddle them together and add the ice.
3. Pour the ginger ale over the ice and stir. Sip slowly … these cocktails go down way too easily.
