225 Tries: Do you know your Halloween candies well enough to recognize them in a blindfolded taste test?

If it’s not costume parties or scary movie marathons, the best part of Halloween has to be the candy. Whether you prefer chocolate or gummy candies, grocery store candy aisles are still filled with endless bags of sweets this time of year.

There’s usually the classics like candy corn and Kit Kat bars, but this year there were some new items on the shelf. Instead of staying in our comfort zone and picking our Halloween favorites, the 225 Dine team went to the store and grabbed a mix of classic and new candies to try.

But it wouldn’t be fun if we just tried them, right? To make it extra-spooky, four 225 staff members participated in blindfolded candy tastings. Each person was put into a room, blindfolded and then had to guess what candy they were eating, describe what they tasted and give it a thumbs up or thumbs down based on if they’d eat it again.

Watch the video below to see their reactions.
