‘225’ dishes up new app promising to do for dining what Uber did for transportation
At 225, there’s not much we love more than trying out a new restaurant or discovering a new dish at an old favorite. And with so many openings and menu updates this year, we’ve had plenty of opportunities.
That’s why we’re launching a new app to make discovering and dining at Baton Rouge’s growing collection of restaurants easier. From picking the spot to paying the bill, you can do it all through 225 Requested.
“We’re connecting diners looking for a unique and convenient culinary experience with the best restaurants in town,” says 225 Publisher Julio Melara. “This technology promises to do for dining what Uber did for transportation.”

Here’s how it works.
Use the app to:
Discover new restaurants: Filter by location or type of cuisine to preview menus and images of food at local restaurants.
Skip the wait: Make a same-day reservation so you’ll never have to wait in line for Sunday brunch again.
Find special offers: Exclusive offers will change in real time throughout the day.
Dine and dash: Get out of the restaurant quicker by using the app to charge the bill and gratuity through Apple Pay or a credit card on file. If you’re dining with a large party, the app can also split the check.
Get credits: Share a referral link with friends, and they’ll get $5 to try the app. Even better: When one of your referred friends completes their first transaction, you’ll get a $5 credit added to your account. Limited time offer.
Download it
The app is available for download on both iOS and Android devices. Find the app at get225.com.
