Zippity Zoo Fest

The Baton Rouge Zoo is 42 years old, and it’s celebrating with a wild time out for the whole family this Saturday and Sunday. A children’s village with inflatable slides and rides, a rock wall for fun climbing, and “Safari Snapshots” with some of the zoo’s tamer residents are just a few of the activities the kids can enjoy. Face painting, talking to keepers and enjoying live animal shows are a few more—plus, it’s an excuse to get out in the fine Spring weather and enjoy the new improvements to our home-grown zoo.
