Xero Skidmore at the Shaw Center

Baton Rouge’s foremost slam poet, Chancelier “Xero” Skidmore, will host a night of poetry reading, improv and absurdity at the Shaw Center’s Hartley-Vey Studio Theatre this Monday, August 13. It’s been more than six years since Xero performed a full-length show, but the poet, teacher and activist has placed third overall in 2010’s World Slam Competition, so don’t miss your chance to see this native Baton Rouge talent in his element.
