What a Drag

When not making Spider-Man movies, director Sam Raimi likes to give audiences chills. The Evil Dead mastermind has plenty of experience both spoofing and worshipping the horror genre, and his latest Drag Me to Hell looks like it’s curses for Alison Lohman. She plays a young loan officer ordered to evict an elderly woman from her foreclosed home. The woman then places a curse on her making her life a living hell. With just three days before she’s sent down under permanently, Lohman must find a way to defeat the evil-spirited tormentors. Justin Long co-stars. Rated R.
