West B.R. does the ‘Monster Mash’

This Friday, the West Baton Rouge Parish Library and the West Baton Rouge Museum will hold Monster Mash, a Halloween event for kids and families. At the museum, costumed kids and parents will participate in Halloween-themed activities, and music provided by the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society. Later, the West Baton Rouge sheriff’s department and the Port Allen fire department will lead the Great Monster Parade. The event culminates in Heroes’ Park by the library, with Dianne de Las Casas telling fun and scary monster tales. Free to the public. 6:30 p.m.
