After a tornado hits her Kansas home, Dorothy Gale is carried over the rainbow to another world. Meeting up with a gang of friends —the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion— Dorothy and her dog Toto will battle the forces of her imagination. You’ve heard this story, right? It’s the classic The Wizard of Oz, and Playmakers of Baton Rouge will bring it to the stage, starting Friday at 7 p.m. at the Reilly Theatre. Tickets are $20.
