Waxing psychotic

Back by popular demand, Baton Rouge comedian Jamie Wax brings his one-man musical Goin’ Back to Jackson to the Manship Theatre. Wax plays five mental patients from the East Louisiana State Mental Hospital in Jackson vying to be the state mental health spokesperson. Since its premiere in Baton Rouge in 1991, Wax has continued to keep the show fresh with new material and his trademark topical updates. No two performances are ever quite alike.
