Wave those flaps goodbye
Q: How do I get rid of my “Bye-bye Bettys”—the flap of skin under the top of my arms. I am only 32, and they already wave longer than I do!
—Kelsi Miller
A: Kelsi, here are three exercises I suggest: First, standing triceps extensions over your head. Use a spotter, and stand and hold one dumbbell with two hands, and raise it above your head while keeping your elbows in your peripheral vision.
If after 15 reps this feels too easy and there is no pain in you elbows, increase the weight for the next set.

Do three sets, and you should feel a reaction in the muscle by the time you reach repetition nine, but push to 15 repetitions in each of the three sets.
Second, are triceps kickbacks with weights or bands. Hold a light weight in each hand, bend slightly forward from the hips, keeping your back straight and elbows behind you for stability.
Open and close your arms while keeping your elbows behind you. Do three sets of 15 reps each.
Last is the long triceps extension using the floor, a ball or a bench.
Execute these by lying on the floor with the backs of your hands on the floor above your head, elbows bent, palms facing the ceiling.
This works out the largest part of the triceps.
So again, make sure those hands are rotated to face the ceiling.
Place the “weighted” part of the dumbbell in each hand and raise the weight toward the ceiling.
Make sure you open and close your elbows, but the elbows must stay within your peripheral vision.
Do not bring that weight over your forehead. Keep it way behind the top of your head.
