Watch the local premiere of a Jewish film at Manship Theatre

The Baton Rouge Jewish Film Festival may not kick off until January, but organizers are debuting Fill the Void Sunday to commemorate the announcement of the fest’s 2014 lineup. This new release from overseas follows a devout Israeli teenager who struggles with the pressure to marry her sister’s widower. The film was chosen as Israel’s official submission to the Best Foreign Language Film category for the 2013 Academy Awards. The screening begins at 2 p.m. at the Manship Theatre. Tickets are $8.50 and are available here. For more information, click here.
