‘Wanderlust’ for life
-
Yuppies become hippies this Friday in the unemployment comedy Wanderlust. When New Yorkers played by Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd find themselves suddenly unemployed they survey their options and decide to give country, communal living upstate a chance. From the mind of writer/director David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer, The State) this fish-out-of-water comedy explores what happens to a thoroughly urbanite couple when they go off the grid and are confronted with an easy-going, “free love” community. Several veterans of The State turn up in supporting roles along with Alan Alda, Todd Barry and Justin Theroux. Rated R.
