Walk with the walking dead

You needn’t wait until the end of the month to get in the Halloween spirit. This Friday, you can get your ghoul on at the TJ Ribs Zombie Bash, a combination 5K run, “Thriller” flash mob and post-race party. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. in front of—where else?—the 13th Gate, 832 St. Phillip St. Dress as one of the walking—or running—dead to make the 5K dash, then stick around for the friendly afterparty, costume contest and elaborately-choreographed “Thriller” performance.
