‘Vox’ rocks silent films

Rock concert meets silent film as traveling Los Angeles theater company Vox Lumiere comes to the LSU Union Theater this Saturday night to tackle the classic tale, The Phantom of the Opera. While the 1920s film plays onscreen behind them, performers, dancers and singers bring their own spin to the story, giving voice to these legendarily silent characters. With amazing effects, costumes, and spellbinding vocals, you’ll find yourself wrapped up in the tale of the tragically disfigured musical genius and his twisted obsession with young opera ingénue, Christine. Tickets are available at uniontheatre.lsu.edu.
