22: Length in minutes of the “Fireworks on the Mississippi” display that closes out the Star-Spangled Celebration downtown. The 4th of July event begins with a one-mile run at 8:30 a.m. and features music by the Chris Lebanc Band, Jenny Brooks and more throughout the afternoon. The aerial show with a “mock attack” of the USS Kidd begins around 6 p.m. and the grand finale fireworks show starts at 9 p.m. usskidd.com
