Vet school classes for critter-crazy kids

Do your kids love animals? Sign them up for one of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine’s weekly kid-friendly seminars. The goal is to encourage school-aged children to gain a greater understanding of other species, get involved in pet care and consider a career in veterinary medicine. All presentations are free and open to children 6 and older and their parents, but pre-registration is requested. Topics range from rescuing wild animals to proper pet care and feeding.
