Twin Peaks opens on Siegen

Twin Peaks, a new concept restaurant, has opened on Siegen Lane. Twin Peaks falls into the same category as Hooters, employing an all-female waitstaff clad in revealing uniforms. The restaurant specializes in guy-friendly dishes, such as the poblano chipotle burger, BBQ pulled-pork nachos and steak sliders—not to mention dozens of ice-cold beers on tap. The interior is styled to look like a ski lodge, with wood paneling, fireplaces and wide-screen TVs scattered about the space to catch all the latest games. Nation’s Restaurant News dubbed Twin Peaks as a hot concept in 2010. Jim Clark and Cotton Lloyd, who have the local Twin Peaks franchise, plan to open another location in New Orleans in 2012. Randy DeWitt, CEO of Twin Peaks, which is based in Addison, Texas, says the company had been looking at entering the Louisiana market for years, because it’s a “state that appreciates quality food, a great bar and attractive women.” He says, “It was just a matter of finding the right franchisee.”
