Try your Irish luck at the St. Patrick’s Day parade
-
Voted the No. 1 parade in the Capital City by 225 readers in 2006, the annual Wearin’ of the Green Parade rolls on Saturday, March 15. Join the festivities by donning some bonnie green attire and rounding up the family. Catch the luck of the Irish while catching some beads. The parade rolls at 10 a.m. beginning at the corner of Hundred Oaks and South Acadian Thruway by the Catholic Life Center and ends at Perkins Road and Lee Drive. The younger crowd will probably congregate near the cluster of bars around the Perkins Road Overpass, but the parade route has tons of family-friendly spots as well.
