Trio of artists take over the Baton Rouge Gallery
The Baton Rouge Gallery belongs to Mary Ann Caffery, Samuel Joseph Corso and Amy James this month. This phenomenal trio of local artists are as varied in their approach as the mediums in which they work. Caffery will show her signature glass mosaics. Corso will show a stirring series of graphite drawings from a recent trip to the marshes of Calcasieu Parish, but its portrait photographer Amy James has everyone barking over her latest exhibit. “Dog” features James’ rich photographic take on man’s best friend, celebrating their beauty on film with her soulful monochromatic photography. All work will be on display throughout May. (Photo credit: Courtesy Amy James)
