Tonight: CrawFęte shows off upscale crawfish dishes

Fans of crawfish should be gearing up for tonight’s CrawFęte event from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Mockler Beverage Company, 11811 Reiger Rd. The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society is hosting the event, which features a range of crawfish dishes from area chefs as well as craft beers, wines and spirits.

Among the participating restaurants are Bin 77, Blend Wine Bar, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Culinary Productions, Galatoire’s Bistro, Hot Tails Restaurant, Ruffino’s, Sammy’s Grill, Stroubes, Sullivan’s Steakhouse and more. Some of the dishes include crawfish boudin, Mississippi rabbit loin with crawfish and boudin stuffing, and Crawfish Maison. For a full menu, and to start drooling, click here.

Tickets for the event are $50 per person. Proceeds will benefit local childhood health and nutrition programs, such as Girls on the Run, Boys & Girls Club of Baton Rouge, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and more. For more information, click here.
