Tin Roof’s Coffee Porter returns with pub crawl
As fall approaches, Tin Roof’s seasonal beer, the Parade Ground Coffee Porter, returns. The beer is full of chocolate and coffee aromas and flavors. Last year, the beer debuted to praise. This year, not only will Tin Roof debut the Coffee Porter in cans, but the local brewery also plans to show off the coffee and chocolate-tinged brew with a pub crawl, dubbed The 3rd Street Coffee Crawl.
The crawl begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, with registration at the first stop, 3rd Street Pub. From there, the event continues into the night with stops at Red Star Bar, Boudreaux & Thibodeaux’s and Happy’s Irish Pub. Me & My Big Mouth Podcast will be there every step of the way, tracking the event.
Though the crawl is a partnership between Me & My Big Mouth, Tin Roof and the aforementioned bars celebrating the porter’s inaugural can release, the event will also support Chef Chris Wadsworth and his wife Sommer’s new educational venture Triumph Kitchen.
