Things get Harry

It was the groan heard round Geekdom. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was slated to open last November before the studio decided the tent pole picture would make more scratch off of it with a summer release. The kids are out of school. Seven months later, and it’s finally here. Now in his sixth year at Hogwart’s, Harry begins private lessons with Professor Dumbledor and discovers a mysterious book the reveals the twisted past of the evil Lord Voldemort. Between high stakes Quidditch matches and a little high school romance, Harry investigates the increasingly suspicious activity of Draco Malfoy and faces his greatest challenge from Voldemort’s dark forces yet. Jim Broadbent, Michael Gambon, Rupert Grint, Alan Rickman and Emma Watson co-star. Rated PG.
