Theresa Andersson flies into the Manship

YouTube sensation and indie-soul-rocker Theresa Andersson will visit the Manship Theatre on Thursday to bring some of her sweet, multi-instrumental vibe to a local audience. A native of Sweden, Andersson moved to New Orleans to perform with Anders Osborne, but has since broken off on her own as a solo artist. She’s also collaborated with Big Easy legends like the Meters, the Neville Brothers and Allen Toussaint. Her performances—which feature Andersson playing a variety of instruments and singing with herself via loop technology—have to be seen to be believed.
