I am a casual art-hop goer, picking my way through hors d’oeuvres on the fly, but Hot Art Cool Nights made me stop and take notice. Hopping distance from my house, arranged around the vintage nexus of Capital Heights Ogden Park, the food trucks were in effect, DJs and acoustic musicians and even a traditional jazz band shocked some life into the usually quiet night air and I got to know my neighborhood merchants a little better.
