The Myrtles come out of hibernation to play

It’s one of the city’s favorite bands that rarely perform. The Myrtles have shared the stage with everyone from Rilo Kiley to Reverend Horton Heat and have been under the influence of The Replacements, Sonic Youth and Gram Parsons. This crew of “bootgazers” plays at Chelsea’s Café on Friday night. Luke Allen Spur of Happy Talk makes a special appearance as well. 11 p.m. 18 and up. (Photo by Britt King)
