The ‘Midnight’ hour

Woody Allen is earning Oscar buzz for the first time since Vicky Christina Barcelona with Midnight in Paris, a whimsical romantic comedy starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams as a young couple looking for adventure that comes to realize through a comedy of errors that their day-to-day life back home isn’t so mundane after all. After a bout of writer’s block, Wilson’s Hollywood veteran decides that Paris can be his ultimate inspiration and begins exploring the City of Love on long late-night walks, while McAdams grows restless and unaffected by the city’s charms.
