The 1959 film that tripled ukulele sales overnight and captured perfectly Jack Lemmon’s curves and charm — OK, Marilyn Monroe’s — Some Like It Hot brazenly mixes genre-bending comedy and sexual innuendo with Chicago’s infamous Valentine’s Day Massacre. On the run from the mob, Lemmon and Tony Curtis go drag to hide among Monroe’s cavalcade of female musicians.
