Teen style with a purpose
The students of Baton Rouge Magnet High School will be host their 3rd annual charity fashion show, Spectrum 2010, Jan. 15th at the Baton Rouge High auditorium. The $7 admission will benefit two local children’s charities, including helping pay for “No More Chemo” parties for children who complete chemotherapy at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The high school’s clever classroom designers tackled a reality show-worthy challenge last year, creating original outfits out of such diverse material as bubble wrap and plastic shopping bags. This year’s show will showcase new student designs.
Tickets are available at the school and the door.
